MET has been working for the most deprived, vulnerable and voiceless communities focusing the future of their Children enabling access to education, enhancing the health and nutrition, entertaining participation/opportunities to learn life skills, acquiring general knowledge and vocational skill training for sustainable development.
Women development as the core strategy for overall community development, MET gives high priority for their various social awareness, balanced economic development, well health and nutrition status and enhanced knowledge and enterprising skill on ensuring the socio-economic security and life safety.
Youth as a future society MET executes various training and development programs on building better knowledge, skills and values to get better jobs and establishing feasible trade activities towards building best life standards.
Homeless Poor and Senior Citizens are most deprived with no basic life needs, MET gives helping hand by running India’s first Shelter for Homeless Urban Poor with the support of NULM, Government of India and proud to provide standard food menu with refreshments, accommodation, clothing, water and sanitation facilities, entertainment facilities, Yoga for peace and a small nursery units for tree plants engaging residents to health practices
Focused health and nutrition programs for adolescent girls with the set of awareness/knowledge components combating their specific challenges on health/hygiene, psychological complexity, sexual abuse and other form of exploitations/threatens on enabling their balanced development with improved life securities.
Environment conservation is our integral part of every project and MET uses all the opportunities/projects to conserve environment by bio diversity, climate control, pollution control, propagation of mangrove forest, tree planting, agro forestry, polythene and plastic control especially along coastal line etc.
Farmers are prime part our nation, they need more guidance and support where by MET guides for various Government subsidy programs, technology transfer, innovative organic cultivation methods and cost effective cultivation strategies. Besides conducts training and development programs for awareness and knowledge to make the farm activities more profitable and support to develop new and appropriate farming projects for sustainable income.
Fisherfolk communities as main beneficiary group of MET who are among highly vulnerable section supports for their holistic development from safety awareness to sea based livelihood promotion. Costal line based development initiatives such as mangrove forest for tourism, back water fishing, bio diversity, planting coastal line Palmyra trees, plastic/polythene control and awareness for conservation and optimum use of coastal resources for balanced development are some priority areas of MET.
MET is conducting various Road Safety programs that protects people from accidents consequent life loss and injuries. The continues programs through rally, FM telecast, cultural program with police department decreases the life risks of general public enabling awareness and practice of following road safety rules.
